SKEMA Business School (https://www.skema.edu/) is seeking to hire one or more full-time permanent Associate and/or Full Professors of finance. The successful candidate(s) will develop academic research projects with the aim of publishing in the field's highest quality journals.

 

We encourage applications from scholars with a focus on quantitative research in corporate or market finance. The school offers a vibrant research environment with strong established groups, including in the finance area, and is seeking to reinforce existing expertise. The candidate will be expected to: produce excellent research; teach undergraduate and/or graduate level courses in finance; contribute to student mentorship; and participate in projects related to the SKEMA SKY25 institutional strategy.

 

The position is permanent with a full-time contract. Salary and conditions are competitive, in line with international standards. The language of work and teaching is English. Knowledge of French is not required, and is not a criterion for selection. SKEMA Business School offers support in learning French.

Qualifications must include:

  • A Ph.D. in Finance or related field.
  • Evidence of recent research productivity with a record of high-quality publications and an established pipeline.
  • Teaching excellence in finance or related fields.
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a collegial environment.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Commitment to service and/or outreach activities.
